Looking Young Is Not Difficult
My aunt Sue is 60, but she looks like she’s 35. When I look at her I understand that I also want to be like her and to look younger when I’m that age. But I think it’s difficult to looking young like my aunt.
Sue says that if a woman wants to look younger after 40, she should start taking care of her appearance much earlier — at 20. By saying “taking care of her appearance,” she doesn’t mean you should use different anti-aging creams or something. She meant you need to form healthy eating habits and lead the right lifestyle.
What does she mean by saying “right lifestyle?”
Uses Cosmetics for looking Younger?
First of all, my aunt doesn’t use any cosmetics, not even lipstick or sunscreen lotion. She starts her day at 7 a.m. by drinking a glass of water. She says that water is very important for looking younger as it not only helps to feel “extremely refreshed but also makes the skin glow and shine,” as she once said. She also washes her face with cold water about four-six times a day.
Then she does her morning exercises in her yard for around 15 minutes and goes running for about 20-30 minutes. Then she comes home and has breakfast, which is full of not fatty dairy products. She says that dairy products help your stomach function properly, and a good digestive system is key to beautiful and elastic skin. So if you want to look young, include dairy products in your daily diet.
What does she eat?
I don’t want to go into details about what she eats — almost everything. But the food should be fresh, and not in huge proportions. Another aspect of her healthy eating habits is not to eat after 7 p.m. If she’s very hungry in the evening, she eats fruits or vegetables — only in small portions — and I advise everyone to do so.
Sue also said that the most important thing for looking younger is good sleep, which is from seven to eight hours a day. She also sleeps for about 10-20 minutes during the daytime. That is her “beauty sleep,” and she says that sleeping longer than that during the daytime is not good.
It seems like looking younger when you’re 50 or even 60 is not a big deal. You don’t have to go under the laser, get chemical peels, and waste thousands of dollars. Simply form healthy eating habits, do enough physical exercises, get fresh air during the day, set time aside for your “beauty sleep” and you’ll add a few more years.
